How we carry out each piece of work
Every matter begins with a written scope agreement. The family knows what the service covers before any work begins. As the matter progresses, we report in writing at each meaningful step. When the matter concludes, we produce a closing note and ensure the family's file is complete.
This sequence — agree in writing, proceed, report in writing, close in writing — is consistent across all three of our services. The content differs; the discipline does not.
Service 01
Adoption Documentation Review
A patient service for parents at the early stage of an adoption, who would like the documentary record reviewed before the formal application is submitted. The work covers a calm read-through of household information, supporting reports, and any consents already obtained, followed by a short written note identifying which documents appear to be in order and which may need a small adjustment.
The note is the family's working document and may be kept on file regardless of how the formal application later proceeds. This service does not constitute legal representation in proceedings — it is a careful, informed review at the document preparation stage.

Process
Family sends or brings the existing documents to Sai Yai Law.
Full review carried out by a qualified practitioner — typically within five working days.
Written note provided identifying the status of each document category.
Brief follow-up call or message available if the family has questions about the note.
Service 02
Guardianship Application Support
A focused service for family members applying to be appointed as the legal guardian of a child or an adult who needs ongoing decision-making support. The work covers compilation of the family record, drafting of the application itself, coordination with any independent assessor whose report is required, and management of correspondence with the relevant authority throughout the review.
The progress of the matter is reported in writing at each meaningful step so the family may take any further decisions calmly and with full information.

Service 03
International Family Coordination
A comprehensive coordination service for families whose matters span more than one country — for example, a separation involving children born in different jurisdictions, or a marriage celebrated abroad and now being unwound. The work covers a written review of each jurisdiction's relevant framework, identification of any international coordination provisions that may apply, drafting of correspondence with each authority involved, and ongoing translation and reconciliation of the responses received.
A consolidated written record is maintained throughout the matter for the family's reference. All English-language correspondence is handled by Sai Yai Law; translation support for other languages is coordinated as needed and noted in the scope agreement.

Confidentiality
All information is held in strict confidence. Files are not shared outside the scope of the matter.
Written scope agreements
No work begins without a written scope and fee agreement. Both are provided before any file is opened.
PDPA compliance
All personal data is handled in accordance with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act.
Bar Association membership
All practitioners hold current Thai Bar Association membership and meet annual CPD requirements.
Timely written reporting
Progress notes are issued within three working days of any meaningful step in the matter.
Family file on request
The complete documentary record for any matter is available to the family on request, in full, at any point.
